I am thinking of the corn and sweet peppers because of end-of-summer produce; the cucumbers also fill the summer produce finale bill. It is very difficult to choose; I have to remind myself we will be cooking away all thru the book. I missed the wok-boat all summer but am looking forward to being back in the circle come September. Facebook page/setup is wonderful.
My favorite chinese food dish is Singapore Noodles, page 274. And it uses Chinese Barbeque Pork, page 285. I don’t know if it would be too much to have to make both these recipes in a week. They both sound great.
Would love to make something with scallops. Either the Velvet Orange Scallops or the Stir-Fried Scallops with Baby Bok Choy.
